Born on in DA Upper Penincula of Michigan's Musky Waters, this is a tride and true producer. As a guide I did exstensive surveys with local anglers to figure out what the "sweet spot" abundant size of yellow perch were. Perch being one of the top pike and musky forage fish, it's no wonder this fly has been a steady pattern. Tied on stanless steel gamagatusu hooks. Great for Pike, Musky, Bass, Barracuda, Snook and Golden Dorado.
Da Perch - Quick shedding 6-7"
What does Quick-shedding mean? It means that on your first back cast 80% or more water weight is shed immediately and you are back to concentrating on where to put your fly rather than struggling with a wool sock on the end of your line. These flies are tied hollow style which look and act bulky without being bulky. Also the materials chosen for these flies are less likely to wick up water weight All flies are tied on stainless steel saltwater grade hooks and mesure 6.5-7". Typically quick shedders last at least 3-5 predator fish before they get to the point of noting left on the hook. These are essentially my "guide flies" which have build in durability.
